    Randi Hutter Epstein, MD, MPH is an educator and medical writer whose articles have appeared in national publications including the New York Times and the Washington Post. She is a lecturer at Yale University, Writer in Residence at Yale Medical School and adjunct professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is the author of Get Me Out: A History of Childbirth from the Garden of Eden to the Sperm Bank (WWNorton: 2010) and AROUSED: The History of Hormones and How They Control Just About Everything (WWNorton: 2018). Randi lives in New York City with her husband. They have four grown children
