Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Jocelyn Novella, Ph.D. is an assistant professor, clinical mental health counseling at Fairfield University’s graduate counseling program. She previously worked as Director of Counseling at Sacred Heart University for over 20 years, focusing on prevention and intervention related to mental health issues in the college student population. She has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in English, an M.A. from Fairfield University in Community Counseling, and a Ph.D. from Oregon State University in Counseling. Her research interests are telemental health, well-being in emerging adults and gender issues in counseling.
