Massimo Pigliucci is the K.D. Irani Professor of Philosophy at the City College of New York. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Massimo’s research interests include the structure and logic of evolutionary theory and the relation between science and pseudoscience (the so-called demarcation problem). He is the author of 142 technical papers and ten books, including Nonsense on Stilts: How to Tell Science from Bunk, Answers for Aristotle: How Science and Philosophy Can Lead Us to A More Meaningful Life, and (with Maarten Boudry) Philosophy of Pseudoscience: Reconsidering the Demarcation Problem.
